Fancy Serial Number Checker

Type the serial number from any U.S. bill. The checker looks for the patterns collectors pay extra for and tells you what notes like yours typically sell for.

Check a serial number

Type the 8 digits of the serial number. Add the letters and the star if your note has them; the checker reads the digits.

What most patterns are really worth

Many online lists quote big prices for fancy serial numbers. Real sales are lower for most patterns. A radar or repeater on a common modern note usually sells for $5 to $20. The big money is in true solids (like 77777777), perfect ladders (12345678) and serial numbers under 100.
