What is your paper money worth?
Pick the bill and type the series year printed on its face. You'll get its value worn, uncirculated and as a star note.
Start with the seal color
- Green seal: a Federal Reserve Note, the kind printed today. Most are worth face value unless they have a star or a fancy serial number.
- Red seal: a United States Note. Small-size red seal $2 bills are worth $7 and up. See red seal $2 bills.
- Blue seal: a silver certificate. Worth $4 and up. See silver certificates.
- Brown seal with HAWAII printed on it, or a yellow seal: a World War II Hawaii or North Africa note, worth $40 and up. See the 1935 silver certificate page. (Brown seals without HAWAII are 1929 National Bank Notes or Federal Reserve Bank Notes, which this site doesn't cover yet.)
